This project sought a sophisticated and modern logotype for "WanderWith," an online aggregator specializing in curating outdoor adventure travel experiences. The client specifically mandated a clean, type-faced design with defined lines, strictly prohibiting any cartoony aesthetics. To meet this practical requirement, the final design adopted a strong, geometric square framework, symbolizing structured, high-quality curation. We innovatively integrated the 'W' initial with an airplane graphic, creating a literal yet refined visual shortcut that immediately establishes the Travel & Hotel industry context. The final execution in a vibrant blue and white palette achieved the necessary balance of classic sophistication and modern ambition desired for a forward-thinking platform.
Objective & Strategic Intent
The design's primary objective was to create a logo for an online aggregator that curates outdoor adventure travel experiences , targeting a sophisticated and mature audience. Strategically, the design integrated the literal concept of travel (the airplane) directly into the brand's initial letter ('W' for WanderWith), forging an immediate and memorable visual identity. The clean, defined lines and geometric structure aimed to project an image of professionalism and efficiency, communicating a no-BS approach to adventure travel curation. By balancing modern style with a classic, high-quality feel, the logo was designed to appeal to clients looking for luxurious yet practical experiences, setting a confident and ambitious tone for the brand.
Outcome
The resulting logo successfully delivered a type-faced design with clean and defined lines , avoiding the cartoony style the client explicitly cautioned against. The mark clearly communicated the organization's industry—Travel & Hotel —through the iconic airplane graphic. By embedding the symbol of flight within the 'W', the design offered an innovative visual shortcut to the brand name and function. The strong geometric framing and bold application of color ensured the logo was highly scannable and adaptable for various screen qualities and layered vector files (AI, EPS) as required for final deliverables. The final asset, as submitted, was a strong visual statement perfectly positioned for a digital, forward-thinking travel aggregator.
